Tahoe on Christmas

We recently took a trip to Tahoe( a lake surrounded by mountains bordering California and Nevada) to get a feel for snow this winter, also to celebrate a white Christmas.
As with the water, vikrant loves snow. Although he did not get a feel for skiing he did try to ski on one leg; He loved sledging, making snow men, snow ball fighting and plain old lying down in snow. He had a blast. He slept his way back and his first words, with a very sad face, when he got up were" Where 's the snow gone?".

The new year was pretty much indoors, with sweety cooking a grand dinner. While me and vikrant choose to snooze early, sweety and ruby ended up watching " Tare Zameen Par". Vikrant has started school again. The only thing new this year has been the fact that he has discovered being shy and has had a fairly passive first few days in school. To this his teachers have expressed surprise and joy. Little do the teachers know that this usually is the lull before the storm, or so i feel. Time will tell .
